How we became more

Isaac and Prilly
Isaac and Prilly dancing

Ours is a story of faith, divine timing and patient love.

The Beginning

A simple but all-important question β€” "What's your genotype?" β€” asked by our Maid of Honour became the catalyst for a story only God could have written. Two people who had moved in parallel for years on the University of Ghana campus, yet never truly met, now stand before their family and friends, ready to begin forever together. Isaac, the realistic, ever intentional and romantic gentleman he is, said these simple words at the beginning of the talking stage β€” "P.S. I really like you" β€” and Prilly, whom he describes as adorable, peaceful and cute, just knew…

The Choice

There was a proposal after all β€” during our pre-wedding photoshoot, in the most intimate and thoughtfully planned way, just how Prilly likes it. But even before that moment, our love had unfolded through countless intentional "yeses" β€” choosing each other, day after day.

By the time "forever" came into view, we'd already chosen each other a thousand times over. Since then, we've laughed, prayed, grown and dreamed side by side, discovering that love is built just as much in the ordinary moments as in the extraordinary ones.

The Promise

Every chapter of our story has reminded us that love is not simply found β€” it is nurtured, chosen and sustained by God's grace. As we begin this new chapter, this promise remains the foundation of our marriage.

"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

Matthew 19:6 (NIV)

Forever

And so, with grateful hearts, surrounded by those we love most, we begin our greatest adventure β€” not as two separate stories, but as one, written by the Author who has been with us from the very beginning.
